A Robot Rediscovers Nature

This past summer I hiked 150 miles of the John Muir Trail and while out there it donned on me that I was stilled connected to my phone. I used an app on my phone to navigate the trail, find water sources and camp sites.

Fifty years from now we are all going to be like robots. I thought it would be interesting to create a series of robots that were in the act of discovering nature.

Too often we get so engrossed in our phones or computers or tablets and we don't even see the beauty that's right in front of us.

I suppose it's a bit ironic that I posted this video on YouTube so you could see and watch how we are becoming more like robots.

Hopefully it will remind you to get outside and enjoy nature a bit.
